Here is the last Christmas Card of the season.  Since my girls are away and one won't be coming home for Christmas I just really am not in the mood.  It has been a very awful year and I am ready for it to end.  We just had way to many tragedies and unfortunate things happen so I am going to pack up my Christmas stamping, sit back and wait for the new year to begin.

I took a picture of Santa the other day.  I caught him waving to me. 

Ok maybe not but I thought it was a cute card.  I took the idea from Retro Sketches challenge #41 this week and the color scheme from Color Throwdown CTD221

Snowflakes for Simon Says

I love shopping at Simon Says as much as I love their challenges.  This week their theme is SNOWFLAKES!   Here's my card for them. 

Just a couple of deets about it.  I embossed the background shimmery blue paper with my Sizzix  folder.  I 'm pretty sure you can see what it says but just in case it says 
"Merry Christmas".  I handmade my rosette, but I do have a die for it.  I guess I just didn't think about it.   I'm such a goof!  The bottom snowflake is from my Martha Stewart punch and the one on top is a die from Sizzix..  
I really love this card.  Maybe I'll make more of them but usually I always like to make each person I send a card to a different one.
