Fun Frames for sale.

I just wanted to take a moment and show off some frames I’ve made and have for sale at my Etsy shop.  I also have some great Halloween decorations there also.  Come by and take a look.

Las Vegas Frame
Wouldn’t this be a great frame to put that Las Vegas trip memory picture.  Some crazy night you and the girls had or maybe your “drive thru” wedding pic.  LOL   The cards are real from the Golden Nugget and so are the dice.    The background die paper is high quality scrapbook paper and all items are finished and sealed with matte Mod Podge.
Super Star
Football season is starting up and I know many of you have kids or grand kids that are in football.  What a great way to display their winning picture making that touch down or team photo.  I created this frame to look just like the field they are playing on.. Made with real Astro Turff with all edges heat sealed.  The football and lettering are heavy duty chipboard sealed with Mod Podge and the letters are brown glittered.
Both the frames are 4 x 6 picture size.

Time to get craftin.  Let me know what you think.  Love to hear from all of you.

My doggie hangers.

I want to share a little project I did the other day.  It started when I found little wooden hangers at Mikes for only $1.00 ea.  As soon as I saw them I got a great idea.  I remember seeing on Pinteret adult hangers that were Mod Podged with fabric.  I decided to Mod Podge  these for my little guys tee shirts.   I painted the edges with some brown acrylic paint.  Once that was dry I picked some cute scrap book paper I had for doggies, traced the hanger, cut them out.  I brushed on a layer of Mod Podge, then put down the paper and added another layer of Podge.  I think they turned out great and I had fun making them.

Let me show off my babies, who I made these for:
First is Rocky, Rock-a-lious!, The Rockster.   I found him almost two years ago when I was working in an industrial park area. He showed up at the front door.  He had no collar and there was no way I was going to let him wander those busy streets around there. I figured someone would miss him and I would watch for signs or flyers. Never nothing.. so he became my baby.  He is such a lover.
Rocky II
When I brought him home he fell in love with my mother’s Chihuahua and 62 days later, Bently came into my life. Well he and his 4 brothers. Something about him was different and I just could not let him go. We found great homes for the other 4 and in fact friends have them so I check in on them often.
Bently is the rebel.

Here is my favorite picture of father and son.
As you can tell Bently was much younger at this time.

Well off to bed and dream of my next crafting project.

My Crazy Lamp

So I know it’s been a long time since I have posted anything.  Life got crazy and really had no time for anything but since I fell down the ladder, again (I was finally seeing the light at the end) I have all the time in the world to get back to crafting and blogging.
One of my last projects was this crazy lamp,  I had seen a mirror, almost 10 years ago at a store I use to go to, that the frame was made from kids toys.  I never forgot that and then as I was surfing the web I found his website.  He also made a lamp so I got inspired.
Check out his work HERE.  His name is Ryan McElhinney.
