Let it Snow...Man

It's only 8 days until Christmas and only 5 days til my darling daughter (the one in Seattle) comes home for Christmas.  Can't wait to see her, I miss her so much!

Had to share another card I made for this season.  I just love this die set I got this year.  It's a Sizzix called Snowmen & Let it Snow.  The snowmen come in two sizes.  The one on the left is just a little smaller.  You can see an example of him on the previous post to this one.  On this card I used the snowman on the right and put the hat on him.  The set also come with a Sizzlit that die cuts out "Let It Snow".   I think I also might make package tags with Mr. Snowman. Wouldn't that look cute?

I think I'll submit my lil snowman card into the Die Cuttin Divas challenge #146 for this week.  They have great challenges, always so much fun.  If you're looking for some fun stop by and check the Divas out.

My next project I want to make a Ho Ho Ho banner for the living room.
Here's a sneak peak of what I'll be starting with.

Oh Snap

Have to show off one of my best Christmas Cards this season.
 I just love it.

I used my Sizzix snowman die and had the photo border from my Smash supplies.  Added some little googlie eyes and Snowy is looking good.

This card took me all of 10 mins so I think I'll enter it in the CAS-ual Fridays challenge #123.  This week the challenge is :  Let it Snow.

All my cards are done now so time to make the envelops and get them mailed off.

HO HO HO Christmas Card

Thought I'd show off another Christmas Card that I made for the ColourQ challenge #218.  Look at these colors they put together.  It's perfect for a old fashion Christmas Card.
Anything with Kraft paper is always so warm and comfy to me.  I already had the idea of what I wanted to make.  I got the Sizzix Tim Holtz die cuts of Mini Mustache  & Pointed Finger.

I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this.
What do you think?
I love it!

Count down to Christmas

Happy Monday morning!  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  Here in Arizona it has been raining off and on for the last 3 days.  That is great for us since we really don't get a lot of rain but man when it does rain here everything just stops.  The news stations acts like a world crisis is occurring and everything comes to a dead stop, well except shopping.  I work at a major craft store and we have never been busier.

Back to what I came here to show you.  My latest craft idea.  I created a sudo Advent calendar.  I think it's one of my favorite ideas I've come up with in forever.  Pretty proud of it.
So here is what I started with.  They were natural wood and I spray painted them red.
Here is how it ended up.  I die cut the ornaments and then used my old school sizzix -
Girls are Weird dies to die cut the 1 thru 25.
The ribbon says Santa is Coming.  I thought it was the perfect ribbon to use.

Do you see Santa here in this picture?  That is how you count down.  You move Santa along everyday until he gets to Christmas!  The 25th.

I have two more to make so I better get them done.

Thanksgiving Leaves

Happy Monday morning, or should I say afternoon!  I wanted to show off the card I'm going to enter into The Paper Players challenge #172
I went old school with this one regarding the leaves.  I pulled out an old Sizzix die - Fern.  Decided to emboss them with little dots (folder from Life Style Crafts) and put them on a page from Authentique - Thankful. Of course tied them all together in a pretty little bow.

See you tomorrow.
