Raise the Bar & Polka Doodles Challenge

Well after my last card that was so disappointing I challenged myself to take time and do it right.  I did and really love this unconventional Valentines Card.   I do not have anyone to give this to myself so I am going to give it to my cousin so she can give it to her boyfriend

 

I have to tell you a quick story and give Kudos to Fiskars.  A couple weeks back I was doing what I love to do.  I had a circle punch, got my paper.. cut the circle.. got ready and BAM!  Pushed on the handle and it popped off..  Just snapped right off.  I thought crap.. those aren't cheep and isn't this what they are made for?  I will make this short I see myself starting to ramble.  I got on the website.. called the toll free #.  A sweet rep. said take a picture of it, email it to them and they will replace it.  Long story short.. I received a credit for the amount to pick anything out for that price.  You are looking at the corner/border punch I choose.  It's called Lace & Lattice.  Within 5 days of choosing it I had it in my hands.  A BIG KUDOS TO FISKARS.  Big Mamma gives them a big 10!

The stamp I used is one I have had forever and never used.  It was really big (there is a bottom half that I cut off) and just could not figure it out, but I think this is a very good way.  It is Stamps Happens - Blue Cafe.  The metal notion, who the heck knows how long I have had that.. it was in a big jar of embli that I saw and thought perfect.
