... Smell my feet.

Second post for today.  I must have had to much coffee, I'm on a stamping high!

This Halloween card came together so easy.  The only thing was the ribbon that was time consuming but still very easy.  All I did was use glue dots and took one very long piece of ribbon and glue and bend.. glue and bend and kept going around my stamped circle until it was complete.  It's hard to tell but the green strip is punched with my EK Bat Boarder punch and then I put a black backing on it.  Finished it off by just taking my pinking shears and snipping the bottom edge of the card.

HOPE YOU LIKE IT.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

R.I.P.

Have a few posts for today.  Just finished up my Halloween cards, so I thought I would post a few for all to check out and enter in challenges of course.  I love me a challenge!

This first one I used my Cuttle Bug die/emboss  folder.  As you can see it makes tombstones.  I added the sayings on them.  The first one says "Here lies all cold & hard the last damn dog that pooped in my yard."
Also buried is Barry M. Deep and Izzy Gone.  Poor fellows.  LOL

I also had a few stickers that I wanted to add to the inside.  I just didn't want it to be empty.

Come back to see my other Halloween creations.

Simple Jack-O-Lantern

I made another Halloween card and decided to keep it very simple.  I used CPS #188 sketch as my inspiration.  Added a punch border and turned it sideways.   I used a Stampabilities Stamp called Whimsical Pumpkin.  I cut him and his face out.  Used my Nestabilities for the circle and scallop circle and the border punch is from Martha Stewart.
I used my Tim Holtz edger distressor and "fizzed" the edges of the under layer paper and inked them a darker purple.  Added some bling for his eyes and thought what the heck.. lets add more so three more on the side gave it just a little more pizazz.
I give up on why I can't get my image to load correctly.  Sorry but I am sure you get it.  The inside picture loads just fine.

If the Broom Fits

I started this Halloween card from a sketch found at The Corrosive Challenge #85.
I really like the three circles in the sketch and allowed me to use that for this weeks Pile It On Challenge #40 - Things in three.  The other great thing about it was that it allowed me to use up scraps that I probably would have thrown away.   heheh.. That's always a great thing.
The Cupcake Craft Challenge #112 is requesting us to make something with a "Scary Creature"   .. My witch is from the SU set called Wicked Cool.  I really love both these stamps... the hat and the feet.  So many things can be done with both these together.  I have had this broom stamp for a many years. It comes from a company called Peddlers Pack.  I cut the broom end twice and popped it up.  Colored with prisma pencils and outlined with my fine line micro brown pen.  I chalked around the image to give it some depth.  I really hate to see a plain white background.  It looks so unfinished.  That's just me.   The sentiment is also from the SU set.  Hope you like.

I hope everyone has a great week to come.

Halloween Shaker Card

All the puppies are still very healthy and growing fast.  No eyes or ears have opened yet but we are only on week two of life.

So now on to my card.  I used Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #31 as my inspiration.  I tweaked it just a little but I think you can see the sketch.  Instead of the strip going from top to bottom I used the Haunted House die cut.  I only glued the bottom of the house down and it is 3D at the top.  Maybe you can see it in this picture.

See how it pops off the card.

I have the Sizzix Ghost die and cut the top ghost in white glitter card stock.  I cut another one in just plain black card stock.  I have had these little BOOOO confetti forever so decided to fill my ghost with them.  I punched a circle out of the middle of the ghost, used part of a clear envelope and cut it to cover the hole.  Glued it down and then used foamy pop dots, cutting them up so they were small and put them around the edge of the circle.  Then just attached the black ghost as the back.   GHOST SHAKER IMAGE

I think you get the rest of the card.  I really have to say I love this card.  Usually I am very hard on myself but I do like this and entering it in a few challenges.
