Finally another Challenge card. Happy Birthday

Well I'm going to try this blogging again but really my heart isn't in it.  I'm sorry fellow bloggers and the few followers I have.  I just don't think it's in my heart.  Lately my heart isn't into much of anything but those are my problems.
I thought to kick start this off I'd make a card for a couple of challenges.  I haven't entered any challenges in a long time.  I have some birthdays coming up so a birthday card it was.
Happy Birthaday Banner card

Here's a close up of the banner.

Some deets about this very simple card.
For my background I used a new embossing folder from Sizixx (Birds & Banners).
Isn't it so cute?   I lightly sanded the banners so you can see it, I didn't want it to get lost.
Next I used Hero Arts "You're the best" stamp set. Did some paper piercing, then added a few dimensional pop foam dots.

Of course I am went to a couple of my favorite blog sites to enter this card.

Inspirational - Challenge #31 "Anything Goes"

I"m keeping my fingers crossed that I can keep my blogging going. With the holidays, my favorite Halloween, coming up I know I"ll have a lot to show off.

A beautiful card! I hope that your card making and blogging mojo returns. I can sympathize with you - I've had those times but fortunately my blogging has helped me keep positive and focus on the joy of little things in life. Hugs to you.
