A Cute Lovie Dovie Valentine.

Well did you miss me yesterday.. After my first day back to work in quite some time I was exhausted.  Holly Crapoly..   I came home, check out a few blogs and got down to making another Valentine Card.  I was honored to receive a Digi form a wonderful cartoonist Dustin Pike over at Doodle Dragon Studio.  Well I am honored but I'm nothing special.  The real truth is that they have a great challenge over there so I can't wait to show you the card I made.  This is the very first time I have ever downloaded and/or printed a Digi, let alone used one in anyway.  So I think it turned out pretty darn ok for the first time.  Since I was at it I'll also enter it in
Be Crafty - Challenge #22 -favorite colour combination
Card Pattern - Sketch 47
Raise The Bar - DEBUT it!
Sew Many Challenges #1 - Anything Goes

So here it is:  Like I said this is an original design from Doodle Dragon Studios.  It's a digi and again like I said this is brand new to me.  Never have done it .. but guess what.. I will be using digi a lot more now.  It isn't as hard or bad as I thought it was going to be. Maybe it's because I also have a pretty good printer.  Be Crafty wanted us to use our favorite color combo and since it's a valentine card that's easy!  I love PINK & PURPLE.  I think I've done that, but I also love lots of color so I had to throw in all sorts of color - I think I have it all covered.   I colored it with a combo of copic and primacolor pencils, added these felt hearts, splashed some ribbon and as I was looking at it thought it needed something else.  I dug through my valentine stash and found these little heart charms that I had never used.  WHAT!  There was no way I was going to let them go another year .. ripped it open and yep that was the perfect touch.    I like it.  Hope you all do too.

Big Mamma better get to bed.. have to make the donuts again tomorrow.

p.s.  Still raining here.. Day II.. I'm thinking about loading up on lumber in case I need to start the ark soon.

Mary this is sooo sweet! A pink bear! What a wonderful image for you to use as your first digi. I happen to be a big fan of digital images as well as a friend of Dustin Pike's. I think I was his 22nd follower - look how many he has now! LOL! Thank you for joining us at Raise The Bar this week - wonderful job combining all those challenges! A pink bear...I'm still smiling. :D
